In Psalm 84:10 the psalmist says, “Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
Similarly, the author of this song expresses his feelings as he searches for God and says that he finds God in the temple of his heart. The love that is expressed in the face of God, is making him sing about God and his gratefulness
towards Him. After seeing God, the only desire that he has is to always stay beside Him and nothing else.
There is no way to measure the love of God. He is love and He humbled Himself to even wash the feet of His disciples and left an example for us to serve others without any hesitation. The ultimate expression of this love is seen in
the cross of Calvary where Christ humbled himself even unto a cruel death to save you and me.
This would be the feeling of anyone who has realized the true love of God. As we sing this song, let us be thankful for this great love, mercy and grace that was showered on us.
